Ishihara Sangyo Kaisha (ISK) was founded in 1920. The company has been engaged to production and management of titanium dioxide (TiO2) and pesticides since 1950s, even expanded into the biotechnology industry and magnetic substances. Established in Taiwan in 1973, Taiwan ISK is a subsidiary of Ishhara Sangyo Kaisha Co., Ltd. Evermore mainly distributes TiO2 and functional materials imported from Japan. These products have been widely used in coatings, plastics, papermaking, printing inks, chemical fiber, rubber.

Taiwan ISK products can be divided into R product series (Rutile type), CR product series (Rutile type), and A product series (Anatase type).

 

A-product series are sulfate-processed of general anatase TiO2. It serves bluish color tone and higher brightness (compared with the rutile-type TiO2) and it is also suitable for plastics (e.g . PVC ), rubber and traffic paints. In addition to it, CR product series are rutile type TiO2 produced by chloride process and post-treated with alumina and an organic compound. Its composition develops high gloss, excellent whiteness, tinting strength, good dispersion and weather resistance, and it's suitable in wide range of application fields.
